DORRIS COLLINGE
(Jan 9. 1909-May 13, 1985)

        Dorris Collinge, 76, Detroit, Mich., died in her home May 13, The 
daughter of Arthur and Lucile Stayner Hedglin, she was born near Orland.
        She is survived by her husband, Laflin H. Collinge; one daughter, 
Margaret Judt, Fremont; five grandchildren: Robert Reading, Colorado; Neal 
Reading, Auburn; Jack and James Reading, Hudson; and Dorris Reading, 
Pleasant Lake; three great grandchildren; two sisters: Orpha Foster, North 
Carolina; and Lorraine Stutzman, Nappanee; five brothers: Wayne Hedglin, 
LaGrange; Winn Hedglin, Munising, Mich.; Frank Hedglin, Haverhill, Mass.; 
Raymond Hedglin, Lawrence, Mass.; and Max Hedglin, Jefferson City, Mo.
        She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Roberta 
McDonald and Murl Sweeney.
        A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 2, at 2 p.m. at the 
Hudson Methodist Church with the Rev. David Cornwell officiating.

        Dorris (Hedglin) Collinge married Laflin Herbert Collinge on 26 Jan 
1940.
        Her father, Henry Arthur Hedglin, was born, 05 Jan 1883, and died, 
03 Jan 1934.
        Her mother, Emma Lucile (Stayner) Hedglin was born, 17 Apr 1889, and
died, 24 Feb 1978.
        Her sister, Roberta Ellen (Hedglin) MacDonald was born, 16 Dec 1913,
and died in 1982. 
        Her sister, Henrietta Murl (Hedglin) Sweeney was born, 13 Aug 1918, 
and died, 26 Dec 1972.
        Dorris Collinge is buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Orland, 
Steuben County, Indiana.
