FRANCES J. (WOOSTER) COLLINS
Mrs. Stillman L. Collins

	Frances J. Wooster, oldest daughter of Dennis K. and 
Sarah Jane Wooster, was born in Lysander, Onondaga County, New 
York State, December 27, 1854.
	In 1869, when 15 years of age, the family moved from New 
York State to Indiana, where she attended and taught school 
twelve years. She was a good student, having won various 
prizes in penmanship, mathematics and spelling, and a very 
successful teacher, much loved by her pupils.
	November 15, 1881, she was united in marriage to 
Stillman L. Collins of Jamestown Township. They lived in the 
little village of Jamestown about thirty years. Here their 
four children, Lois, Mamie, Una and Grover were born and grew 
to manhood and womanhood. They moved to the old Collins farm 
in the year of 1914, where they have since lived, and where 
she died April 9, 1926, at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 
12 days, following a four weeks' illness of pneumonia.	
	She leaves to mourn her going, a husband, four children 
who were with her during her illness; three grandsons, three 
brothers, two sisters and a host of other relatives and 
friends.	
	Of her kind, loving disposition too much cannot be said. 
She was a true wife, a wonderful mother, and most of all, she 
loved her own home life where she will be so sadly missed. She 
made the Golden Rule the motto of her life as hosts of friends 
will testify, and always had a kind word for all.
	"Life's race well run, Life's work well done,
	 Life's crown well won, Now comes rest."
	Funeral services were held at the home Monday at 2 p.m., 
Rev. Cutler of Bronson, officiating. Burial in Jamestown 
Cemetery.
