Hall, of Orland, sends us the following statement in relation to Mr. Truman Collins, who died lately at the residence of Mr. Ziba Roberts, in Jackson township. Mr. Collins had suffered greatly for about six years past; yet he patiently awaited the end of pain, and daily prayed to be fitted for his departure. He was not a member of any church, but was a believer in Christ as the only Savior. He leaves six children---three sons and three daughters. He had been a citizen of this county about twenty-five years. His funeral was largely attended by his friends and neighbors. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Truman Collins, no dates or burial place available, married Frances H. (______) Collins, aged 46 years, 3 months and 25 days. She is buried at Lake Gage Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. CHILDEN: Louisa (Collins) Roberts, 1839 - 1916, on 07 Oct 1859, married Ziba Roberts, 10 Aug 1838 - 17 Dec 1904. Truman made his home with Ziba and Louisa. Ziba and Louisa are buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Altha L. Collins, July 1865 - 21 Oct 1870.
