STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 1902, page 4, column 3 FRANCES (LYTLE) CURWIN, 1837 - 24 Dec 1902 Mrs. Stephen Curwin, who has lived here for a number of years, died at the home of her son Harry, in South Bend, on Dec. 24, 1902, where she had gone to spend the winter. The remains were brought here Thursday evening. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 1:30, at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. Simpkson, of the Free Methodist church, of which she was a member. Those from a distance who attended the funeral were Harry Curwin and wife and Burt Curwin, of South Bend; Frank Curwin, of Kansas; Mrs. Anna Thorne and L. A. Lytle and wife, of Quincy, Mich. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Frances (Lytle) Curwin, 1837 - 24 Dec 1902, married Stephen B. Curwin, 1837 - 1899. They are buried at Fremont Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Children: Harry/Henry G. Curwin, 1867 - 1919, on 01 Jul 1888, married 1st, Ida J. Isenhour, no dates known and her burial place unknown. He married 2nd, Cora L. (Shuman) Curwin, 1868 - 1917. Harry/Henry and Cora are buried at O-HUD Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Elmira Elizabeth Curwin, 06 Nov 1870 - 20 Sep 1885, buried at Fremont Cemetery. Stephen S.
