STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26, 1902, page 4, column 3 MARION DALLY, 14 Nov 1846 -21 Mar 1902 Marion Dally was born in Ashland county, Ohio, Nov. 14, 1846, and departed this life at his home in Otsego township, March 21, 1902, aged 55 years, 4 months and 7 days. He came with his parents to Steuben county, Indiana, in 1864. On April 25, 1875, he was joined in marriage with Jennie Bland, and to the union were born two children. His wife died Oct 17, 1882. He was again married to Rhoda A. Bland, a sister of his first wife, May 29, 1883, and to this union one child was born. He was a patient sufferer for several months, and when the end came, passed away calm and peaceful. He leaves a wife and three children, five sisters and many other relatives and friends to mourn their loss. Funeral sevices were held at the home on Sunday at 10 o'clock a.m., Rev. Barton, of Hamilton, officiating. Marion married 2nd, Rhoda Anna (Bland) Dally, 22 Jun 1857 - 28 Apr 1917. Nancy Jennie and Rhoda Anna were daughters of William Bland and his 1st wife, Rhoda (Spiller) Bland. Marion and both his wives are buried at Teegardin Cermetery, Steuben Coounty, Indiana. Vincent and Hannah (Mumper) Dally are buried at Alvarado Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. William Bland was married 1st to Rhoda (Spiller) Bland, His 2nd wife was Louise(?) (Spiller) Bland. No record of burial place for these two sisters. His 3rd wife was Mary Ann (Harmon) Bland, 10 Mar 1834 - 20 Dec 1901. They are buried at South Scott Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
