HIRAM DAVIS, 1821 - 03 Oct 1897

   DIED at the home of his daughter at Montgomery, Michigan, Oct 8, 
1897, Hiram Davis.

   Deceased resided for many years in York and Clear Lake townships 
in this county.  He had been in feeble health for many years.  The 
remains were laid to rest in the Teeters cemetery by the side of his 
wife who had preceded him nearly two years.

   Hiram Davis, 1821 - 03 Oct 1897, married Esther M. (Jefferson) 
Davis, 1825 - 1895.

   Son:  Enoch Davis, 12 Jul 1847 - 1926 married 1st, Dora (Ellis) 
Davis who died 15 Jun 188_.  He married 2nd Ella (Houseman) Davis, 
1859 - 1937.  Enoch is buried at Teeters Cemetery; Dora Davis is 
buried at York Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana; Ella Davis is 
buried at Teeters Cemetery.

   No information on the daughter at whose home he died.
