Steuben-Republican October or November of 1878 Mrs. Emily G. Dickerson, wife of our townsman, M. L. Dickerson, Esq., the mention of whose death is made in another part of this paper, was born in Palmyra, Michigan, and was at the time of death in the 37th year of her age. Mrs. Dickerson had been in poor health for a number of weeks and on last Thursday, was taken worse with a brain disease, from which time she has remained much of the time, unconscious, yet seemed to realize the serious nature of her illness. Some two years ago she united with the M. E. church, at this place and ever afterwards remained a working, exemplary christain. She leaves a husband and one son, who ever found her a faithful wife and kind mother, and who have the sincere sympathy of all in their sad bereavement. The funeral services took place at the Methodist church at 10 o'clock, yesterday, Rev. C. G. Hudson, minister officiating. Sent by J. A. Childers
