STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, OCT. 18, 1893, page 8, column 1 Charlotte (Humphrey) Dickinson A telegram from Salem, Oregon, to Mrs. Orlando Wilder brings the nws of the death of her sister, Mrs. Charlotte Dickinson. She died Oct. 12 at 12:20 p.m. She was known to thre old residents of our county as Charlotte Humphrey, wife of Obed Dickinson, who left here about 42 years ago as a missionary to that place. She was a great sufferer, having been an invalid some time. He husband died about a year ago. Another pioneer has gone. Miss Charlotte Humphrey came to Millgrove with her parents in 1837 and settled about one mile east of Orland. ADDITONAL INFORMATON: Charlotte (Humphrey) Dickinson was the daughter of Luman (22 Jun 1786-30 Jan 1841) and Philena (Dryer) Humphrey (25 Apr 1793-10 Sep 1860).
