STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5, 1902, page 8, column 3 LUCRETIA (SCOTT) DICKINSON, 28 Feb 1832 - 26 Feb 1902 Lucretia Dickenson died Feb. 26, 1902, at the home of Mr. Metzgar at Angola. Funeral was held here at the home of her sister, Mrs. F. Salisbury, Friday, at two p.m., Rev. Neal, pastor of the M. E. church in Angola, officiating. Burial in Green Lawn cemetery. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. Deceased was seventy years old on the day of her burial. She was a former resident of Orland. She was mother to Mrs. Frank Spitz, of Indianapolis, who, with her family, attended the funeral, and a sister to Samuel Scott and Mrs. F. A. Salisbury. Lucretia is not listed in the Cemetery Book but is supposed to be buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. J. Milton was the son of Bateman Betts Dickinson who died 13 Aug 1870, and Rosina (____) Dickinson, 04 Feb 1807 - 15 Aug 1891. J. Milton and his parents are buried at Memorial Grove Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Rosina married Adam Patterson on 30 Nov 1871. Daughter, Minnie E. (Dickinson) 25 Aug 1863 - 26 Jun 1941, married Sylvester F. Spitz, dates and burial place unknown. Minnie is buried at Greenlawn Cemetery. Lucretia's parents: Victor Scott, no information available. Roxana L. (Lowery) Scott, 04 Feb 1807 - 24 Jan 1883, is buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Siblings: Samuel V. Scott, 30 Jul 1837 - 17 Mar 1912, married 1st, Mary A. (_____)Scott, born about 30 Apr 1842 - 30 Oct 1885, aged 43 years and 6 months. They are buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery. He married 2nd, Jennie (Cosper) Wilder Scott, 1845 - 1925, who is buried at Greenlawn Cemetery. Fidelia (Scott) Salisbury, born about 1840 per 1880 census, was alive in 1902, married Frank A. Salisbury, 1837, no date of death of burial place known. Melvin Emerson Scott, 19 Jul 1841 - 07 Apr 1890, never married. Buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery. Olive M. (Scott) Beigh, 1843 - 14 May 1925, married Silas Beigh, 14 Nov 1846 - 21 Oct 1934, son of John and Mary (Gooding) Beigh. Olive and Silas are buried at Block Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
