Phoebe Swiger Dickinson 
(Mrs. George Franklin Dickinson)

	Phoebe Swiger was born near Greenville, Mt. Calm County, 
Michigan, February 21, 1850, and died at her home in Orland, 
Indiana, November 19, 1906, aged 56 years, 8 months and 28 days.
(Note:  Her daughter, Geraldine, has corrected the date of death to 
November 18.)
	She was married June 1, 1867 to George F. Dickinson.  To them 
were born five children, Orson, Earnest, Belle, Harry and Geraldine, 
all of whom survive except Earnest, who preceded her twelve years

collection, #1 through #22, compiled by  Audree Siebel Lewis, 
located at the Steuben County Library, Angola, Indiana.

Phoebe (Swiger) Dickinson, 21 Feb 1850-18 Nov 1906, was the daughter of 
Wesley Swiger and his 1st wife, Maria M. (Burke) Swiger.  Phoebe was the 
first wife of George Franklin Dickinson, 04 Jul 1839-24 Jan 1917.

Children: 
	Orson C. Dickinson, 1868-1943, married Belle (Cleveland) Dickinson.
	Earnest L. Dickinson, 1870-28 Jan 1895.
	Belle (Dickinson) McKibben, 14 Mar 1873-09 Nov 1965. 1st husband was 
Albert James McKibben, 1868-1903.  2nd husband was Wright McKibben.
	Harry Dickinson, 1877-1928. 1st wife was Lizzie (Martin) Dickinson, 
28 Jun 1881-24 Jul 1912.  2nd wie was Edirh Swartzwalter Holmes.
	Geraldine (Dickinson) Norton, 29 Jan 1889-25 Oct 1971, married Basil 
E. Fisher Norton, 10 Apr 1891-30 Nov 1970.
