STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 1902, page 5, column 5 ELEANOR WICOFF DIRRIM, 10 May 1820 - 14 May 1902 Mrs. Elenor (Wicoff) Dirrim was born in Wayne county, Ohio, May 10, 1820, and died at her home in Hamilton, Ind., May 14, 1902, aged 82 years and 4 days. She was married to Isaac Dirrim, Feb. 17, 1835, and to this union were born twelve children, two dying in infancy, and three after reaching womanhood. With their family, they came to DeKalb county in February, 1845. Her husband died Aug. 8, 1892. After her marriage she united with the M. E. church, and after coming to Indiana, she, with her husband, united with the U. B. church. She was not able to attend religious services very much for some time, but did not forsake her God and Savior. We trust that she is in the heavenly mansions where afflictions and sorrows never come. Funeral services were held in the U. B. church, Hamilton, Thursday, May 15, Rev. Paul Barton, of the M. E. church, officiating. Interment in the Hamilton cemetery. B. church on Thursday, conducted by Rev. Barton. Wm. Wicoff, of Angola, attended the funeral of his aunt, Mrs. Eleanor Dirrim, in this place last Thursday. Oberlin, 10 Jul 1841 - 08 Mar 1916. Buried at Hamilton Cemetery. Eveline (Dirrim) Casper (license says Durham), on 18 Feb 1864, married George C. Casper (license says Cosper). William Cyrus Dirrim, on 10 Feb 1866, married Matilda (Case) Dirrim. He spent his adult life in Kansas. Lovina (Dirrim) Enzor (license says Durham), 1849 - 1934, on 29 Apr 1869, married Hiram Enzor, 1848 - 1923. Buried at Hamilton Cemetery. Peter R. Dirrim, 12 Oct 1851 - 1935, on 24 Feb 1872, married Hannah (Myers) Dirrim, daughter of James and Sarah (Slentz) Myers. Peter and Hannah are buried at Hamilton Cemetery. Martha E. (Dirrim), 1855 - 1888, on 26 Jun 1875, married Benjamin F. Myers, 1855 - 1939. Buried at Hamilton Cemetery. Mary E. (Dirrim) Hagerty Prawl, on 27 Jun 1874, married 1st, James Hagerty, on 15 Sep 1888, married 2nd Edwin A. Prawl (Praul) on marriage license. Ida Frances (Dirrim) Albright, on 02 Jul 1881, married Frank Albright. Biography of Peter R. Dirrim states she was the deceased wife of Frank Albright but she is listed with incomplete dates under Dirrim, page 504 in Cemetery book.
