ELIZABETH (HAWKINS) KIMES HARMAN DUNBAR, 01 Jul 1907 - 27 Sep 1986 Elizabeth Harman Dunbar, Orange City, Fla., formerly of Angola, died Sept. 27 in Fish Memorial Hospital, DeLand, Fla. She was born in Huntington to Todd and Clara Ellis Hawkins. She was the widow of Howard Kimes and Harold Harman and was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Jo Harman, and one sister, Florence Hawkins. Surviving are her husband, Rufus Dunbar; two sons, Jack Harman, Columbus, and Thomas Harman, Camp Springs, Md.; one sister, Josephine Kriegbaum, Huntington; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a former school teacher in Huntington, Metz and Angola, and also owned a bridal shop in Angola for over 25 years. She was a member of the Angola Congregational Church, the Business and Professional Women, the Order of the Eastern Star of Angola, and the Evening Musicale Music Club. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Weicht Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Brass officiating. There will be no calling. Elizabeth married 2nd, Harold Harman, 22 Mar 1905 - 04 Aug 1976. Their daughter, Susan Jo Harman, 28 Apr 1943 - 28 Apr 1944, is buried in the same plot with her father at Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana. Harold was the son of Frank Harman, 11 Jun 1881 - 07 Aug 1946, and Cora (McNeal) Harman, 28 Feb 1881 - 31 Oct 1961, daughter of George and Mary Frances McNeal. Frank and Cora are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery. Elizabeth married 3rd, Rufus Dunbar, 03 Dec 1892 - 06 May 1893. "Cemeteries of Steuben County, Indiana, 1990."
