JULIA (BRAINARD) DUNHAM, 05 May 1817 - 26 Oct 1894

   DUNHAM - Oct. 26, 1894, at her home in Angola, after a brief 
illness, Julia Brainard, wife of Alonzo Dunham, aged 77 years, 5 
months, 21 days.
   Owing to the fact that we were unable to get correct data last 
week for this notice, we made a mistake in the name in refering 
(sic) to Mrs. Dunhams's death.  We are always thankful to friends 
for correct reports of deaths, marriages, etc.

   Julia (Brainard) Dunham, 05 May 1817 - 26 Oct 1894, daughter of 
John and Lucinda (Goff) Brainard, on 31 Dec (Jan-History) 1835 in Cuyahoga, Ohio, married Alonzo Dunham, 16 Aug 1812 - 01 Jun 1906, son of John and Elizabeth (Hungerford) Dunham.  Julia and Alonzo are buried at Powers Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.

   Lovina H. (Dunham) Bennett, 26 Jul 1840 - 13 May 1921, on 09 Sep 1860 (license), married Nathaniel Bennett, 26 Mar 1836 - 22 Mar 1923.  They are buried at Powers Cemetery.
   Priscilla E. (Dunham) Austin, (alive in 1885), on 20 Sep 1860 (license), married Henry F. Austin, 31 Jul 1836 - 07 Jun 1883.  They are buried at Circle 
Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Lucinda E. (Dunham) Moss, 18 May 1850 - 10 Jan 1922, on 16 Dec 1866 (license), married William C. Moss, 22 Mar 1840 - 27 Jan 1897.  They are buried at Powers Cemetery.

   This Family Group Record shows John R. Brainard was born in 1789, Haddam, Middlesex, Conn, died 07 Sep 1849 in Bedford, Cuyahoga, Ohio.  His parents were Amos and Rachel Brainard.  His wife, Lucinda (Goff) Brainard (Julia's mother) was born 09 Apr 1791, in Colchester, New London, Conn., and died 22 Mar 1882, in Bedford, Cuyahoga, Ohio.  Her parents were Guernsey and Asenath (Brainard) Goff.
