The remains of Mrs. John H. Elliott, who made her home with her daughter at Three Rivers, Michigan, were brought to Angola last Saturday for burial in Circle Hill Cemetery.  Mrs. Elliott was an aunt of Mrs. James Austin of Angola. She and her family lived in York Township forty and more years ago, and later moved to Salem Township.  Friends who remember her cannot speak too
highly of her good life, and call to mind her genial disposition and the hospitable home over which she presided.
Note: Avis Naomi LaRue was born January 26, 1831 in Cayuga County, New York. Her parents were John LaRue and Lydia (Hoose) LaRue who resided at Metz from 1840.
