STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, FEBRUARY 25, 1927 HIRAM FISHER DIES Hiram Fisher died at his home at Cold Springs at 8:30 Wednesday morning after an illness from cancer of the stomach. He had been in a serious condition for the past two weeks and had been confined to his bed for that time. Deceased was 75 years of age and was well known in this community. The funeral services will be held from the M. E. church at Edon this afternoon at 1:30 and interment is to be made in the Edon cemetery. Mr. Fisher leaves nine children, all of whom have grown to manhood and womanhood. He also leaves a twin brother, Myron, residing at Metz, one sister residing at Spring Lake, Mich., and one at Flint, Ind. His wife died several years ago. Note: Hiram was the son of Edward and Mary Taylor Fisher, who are buried at Bethel Cemetery. His wife, Susan Brunner Fisher, died February 17, 1911. The children of Hiram and Susan are Anna J Fisher Ewers, Ward D Fisher, Edna Fisher Horner, Ernest Fisher, Lulu Fisher Rockey, Loren Fisher, Wavel Fisher, Artie Fisher, and Oscar Fisher.
