STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15, 1894, page 8, column 4 Mrs. Sarah Ann Fox died on Friday, August 10, at the home of her nephew, M. T. Rose, aged 74 years. Funeral services were held at the house on Sunday conducted by Rev. Bonny, and she was laid to rest in the Carleton cemetery. Sarah Ann Wilder came to Millgrove from Ohio in 1836, before Vermont settlement was formed. Her brother, G. K. Wilder is the only one now living of his father's family. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Sarah Ann (Wilder) Fox, 16 Jul 1820 - 10 Aug 1894, was the daughter of William and Mary (Breed) Wilder. Her 1st husband was Dr. Peter C. Carleton, died 07 Aug 1856, aged 54 years, 8 months and 24 days. Her 2nd husband was Henry Fox. SIBLINGS: Orlando Wilder, about 21 Nov 1815 - 08 Nov 1891, married Ursula (Humphrey) Wilder, 23 Dec 1821 - 1906. William Wilder, died 22 Feb 1885, in the 68th year of his life. Mary A. Wilder, 22 Jul 1822 - 17 Dec 1844. George K. Wilder, 1828 - 1897, married Harriet N. (Luce) Wilder. Charles H. Wilder, 1833 - 1882, married 1st, Betsey J. (Smith) Wilder; 2nd, Jennie (Casper) Wilder.
