                        ARLIE MAY FREED
 "Arlie May Freed, daughter of Benjamin and Ellen Lininger, was born July
10, 1887 in Steuben County, Indiana, and departed this life April 10, 1962 at
her home in Colorado Springs, colorado, at the age of 74 years and nine
months.
 She spent her early life in and near Angola.  She was united in marriage on
February 14, 1911 to Harold Freed and they started their married life on a
farm. After retiring from farming they moved to Coldwater, Michigan.
 Mr. Freed passed away in February, 1942.  Arlie then worked at the Darling
Plastic Company in Coldwater, for about 10 years. Upon retirement she moved
with her sister and family, Mrs. John Quas, to Colorado Springs, Colorado in
1954.
 Arlie was of a loving nature and always willing to help in any way she
could in sickness or in health.  She was always happiest when she could be
busy and always could find something nice to be doing for those she loved.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, her father, mother, one sister,
and three brothers.  Her twin brother, Ray Lininger, passed away in October
1961.
 She leaves to mourn, her sister, Edith Quas and family, with whom she lived
for the eight years, and where she will be deepley missed; also nieces,
nephews and a host of friends.
 Funeral services were held at the Weicht Funeral Home in Angola April 14,
with interment beside her husband in Mount Zion cemetery."
