The family lived in Angola, Ind., until the year 1880, then moved to Lawrence, KA., where they resided one year, finally moving to their present home. Mrs. Glasgow was essentially a religious woman. Early in life she became a member of the Covenanter church, to which she belonged until after moving to Kansas, where she joined the M. E. church and remained a faithful member until her death. She was first of all a home maker, a loyal and faithful wife, caring for her husband through years of suffering, always bright and cheerful and full of hope. She loved the beautiful in her home. Possessed of artistic talent, there were many evidences of the widest culture in her home. Without a single enemy, honored and loved by everybody, young and old, she passed quietly away whispering, "brighter, brighter," bourne on the wings of love and prayer by faith into the home prepared for her. The funeral was held Monday afternoon and was largely attended, the services being conducted by Rev. J. B. Baker of the M. E. church.
