July 1940 Alice Waldron Parshall Gleason ( 1883- 14 Jul 1940 ) Mrs. Alice Parshall Gleason, 57, former Coldwater resident, died at 2:35 p.m. Thursday at her home in Ray, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. EST. Saturday at the Ray Church and burial will be in Lester Cemetery. Mrs. Gleason was born in Branch County and spent her entire life in the county until moving to Ray several months ago. Her last residence was in Algansee Township. She was a member of Eldred Memorial Church of Christ here. Surviving is her second husband, Arlie A. Gleason of Ray: four sons, Clarence and Clifford of Coldwater, Albert and James Parshall of Kinderhook; three daughters, Mrs. Estella Knight of Coldwater, and Mrs. Elizabeth Whitmore and Mrs. Maudie Smith of Union City; three brothers, LeRoy Waldron of Lake Odessa, John Waldron of Jackson, and Homer Waldron of Mulliken; four sisters, Mrs. Leona Turner of Owosso; Mrs. Anna Edwards of Hastings, and Mrs. Bertha Anderson and Mrs. Ida Landgridge of Battle Creek.
