Steuben-Republican 27 July 1927 P.12 clm 3 LULA PARSONS GLEASON Lula Parsons was born in Jackson township, Steuben County, Indiana, February 3, 1880, and departed her life July 14, 1927, aged 47 years, 5 months and 11 days. Most of her life was spent in and near the place of her birth. She was married to Arlie Gleason, March 19, 1898, and to them were born seven children, five of whom are living. Mrs. Margaret Michael, of Kinderhook, Michigan; Mrs. Eula Michael of Battle Creek, Michigan; Viola, Ralph and Orval, who reside with their father northeast of Fremont. In early life she was a member of the Disciple Church at Flint. She was a loving wife and mother a kind and obliging neighbor and friend and was a constant sufferer for the past seven months from the effects of blood poison. Besides those mentioned above, she leaves to mourn her loss two grandchildren, three sisters, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the home, northeast of Fremont, on Saturday July 16, at 9 o'clock, with Rev. Humfreys officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Flint Cemetery. Submitted by J.A.
