JOHN T. GOODRICH, 01 Aug 1817 - 02 Jul 1903

   John Goodrich died at the home of his son, Silas Goodrich, near 
Bronson, July 2, 1903, aged 85 years and 11 months.  Funeral took 
place in the M. E. church here, Saturday, July 4, at 1 o'clock.  
Rev. Peters delivered a very fine sermon from the text, "What is 
Your Life?"  Burial in Jackson Prairie cemetery.  Mr. Bushnell, of 
Bronson, Mich., funeral director.

   John T. Goodrich, 01 Aug 1817 - 02 Jul 1903, on 14 Oct 1837, married 
Patty Marie (Brownell) Goodrich, 26 Aug 1819 - 19 Oct 1861.  They are 
buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.  John was the 
son of Silas H. and Sarah (Turner) Goodrich.

John and Patty had 12 children:

   Everett E. Goodrich, 21 Dec 1838, died in the Civil War, buried at 
Andersonville, GA.
   Sarah A. (Goodrich), born 21 Sep 1840, married William Priest.   
   Silas Goodrich, 10 Sep 1842, married Lorena (________) Goodrich.  They 
lived in Bronson, Michigan at whose home John T. died.
   Melissa (Goodrich) Turner, born 23 Feb 1845, married James Turner. 
   Amanda R. (Goodrich) Johnson, 27 Oct 1847 - ____, on 27 Nov 1863 in 
Branch County, Michigan, married Isaac Johnson, 16 Dec 1843 - 10 Oct 1905, 
buried at Lake Gage, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Mary M. (Goodrich) Lloyd, born 13 Nov 1849, married Albert Lloyd. 
   George B. Goodrich, 09 Jun 1851 - 19 Feb 1920, on 06 Mar 1873, married 
Margaret/Maggie J. (Twiford) Goodrich, 12 Jan 1855 - 07 Apr 1901.  Buried 
at Jackson Prairie Cemetery.
   Lewis P. Goodrich, born 13 Apr 1853.
   James Goodrich, born 16 Aug 1855.
   John F. Goodrich, 03 Jan 1854 - 06 Mar 1865.  Buried at Jackson Prairie 
Cemetery.
   Ida M. Goodrich, born 19 Oct 1859.
   Minnie T. Goodrich, orn 27 Jan 18549.

On 09 Apr 1864, in Elkhart, Indiana, John married 2nd, Hester Ann (Priest) 
Powers Goodrich, 1841 - 16 Apr 1900.  Hester is buried at Greenlawn 
Cemetery, Orland, Steuben County, Indiana.  Hester's 1st husband was Andrew 
J. Powers, 21 Sep 1827 - 14 Jun 1863, killed in the Civil War.  Andrew was 
the son of Stephen A. and Mary Ann (Campbell) Powers from York Township.
 
Children of 2nd marriage:

   Clarissa E. (Goodrich) Hedglin, 01 Aug 1866 - 24 Oct 1937, on 14 Oct 
1887, married Charles M. Hedglin, no date of birth.  They are buried at 
Greenlawn Cemetery.
   Louis (Lew) P. Goodrich, 1870 - Aug 1934, buried at Greenlawn Cemetery.
   James Goodrich, born in 1875.
   Cora (Goodrich) Lancaster, 23 Jul 1878 - Jun 1967, married Ralph 
Lancaster, 1888 - 1963.  Buried at Greenlawn Cemetery.
   Nina (Goodrich) Staley (TWIN), 08 Feb 1885 - 28 Dec 1956, married  
Bradley Staley, 1861 - 28 Dec 1946.  They are buried at Greenlawn 
Cemetery.
   No information on the other twin.
