HANNA To the officers and members of Mt. Pleasant Rebekah Lodge No. 466: Your committee appointed to prepare a tribute of respect to the memory of our dearly beloved sister, Lucy Hanna, who departed this life, Thursday, Feb. 16, 1899, at her home with her parents in Scott township, submit the following: Sister Hanna was a Charter member of Mt. Pleasant Rebekah lodge and at the time of her death was its Past Noble Grand. We will remember her kind and gentle manners and the warm attachment she seemed to have for our beloved order, and with what kindness and courtesy she greeted all with whom she came in contact both in and out of the Lodge. In the death of sister Lucy our lodge has lost one of its fairest flowers, one that we loved and for whom we deeply mourn. Her work being done, the Lord, whom she loved and served so well, has called her home. Therefore be it Resolved that no member has been removed from a seat in our Lodge who will be more kindly remembered than our departed sister. Resolved that we extend to her parents and other members of her family our tenderest sympathy, and with them, we mingle our tears of sorrow over this sad event. Resolved that these resolutions be placed upon the minutes of our Lodge, a copy be presented to the bereaved family and also a copy be sent to each county paper for publication. EMMA E.
