DAVID HATHAWAY, no date of birth, died 01 Apr 1901

   David Hathaway died at his home near Belvidere, Nebraska, on the 
first day of April, aged about seventy-five years.  He was born in 
Pennsylvania and while yet a child his parents moved to Delaware 
county, Ohio, where he lived to manhood's age and was married.  In 
1850 he came to this county and lived in York township nearly thirty 
years.  In 1878 he moved to Thayer county, Nebraska, which has since 
been his home.  He left a wife, three children and several 
grandchildren.  He was industrious and faithful in the discharge of 
the duties of life, ever kind to his family and just to his 
neighbor, a worthy citizen and an honest man.  He was a brother of 
H. P. Hathaway, of Fremont, and Mrs. Henry Hall, of York.

No information on name of wife.    He was the son of Dr. David P. Hathaway, 
04 Nov 1791/1792 - 11 May 1850.  His mother was Elizabeth (Bennett) 
Hathaway, 22 Jul 1790/1791 - 09 Aug 1878.  They are buried at Powers 
Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.

Siblings:

   Rebecca (Hathaway) Berger, 12 Apr 1813 - 15 Jan 1864, married Charles 
Berger, 12 Aug 1801 - 02 Sep 1892.  He died in Iowa.  Rebecca is buried at 
Powers Cemetery. 
   Henry P. Hathaway, 25 Nov 1821/1822 - 12 Nov 1914, married 1st, Frances 
C. (Jagger) Hathaway, 29 Oct 1820 - 16 Dec 1880.  They are buried at York 
Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.  He married 2nd, Mrs. Amelia (Freygang) 
Carpenter Hathaway. Her burial place is unknown. 
   Nancy (Hathaway) Hall, 1828 - 1905, on 04 Oct 1848, married William 
Henry Hall, 22 Oct 1823/1824 - 1908.  They are buried at Circle Hill 
Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.

   Samuel H. Hathaway, 30 Jul 1818 - 23 Sep 1890, on 07 Oct 1841 in Ohio, 
married Martha Isabelle/Isabella (Hagerty) Hathaway, 07 Mar 1823 - 08 Oct 
1900.They are buried at Hamilton Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Parkhurst Hathaway, 17 Apr 1825 - 30 Dec 1890, on 25 Aug 1853, married 
1st Parthenia (Adams) Hathaway, 12 Jun 1826 - 10 Jun 1861.  On 06 Mar 1862, 
married 2nd, Maria A. (Storey) Dean Hathaway, 10 Feb 1834 - 30 Dec 1890.  
They are buried at York Cemetery.
