STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17, 1900, page 8, column 3 MARTHA ISABELLE (HAGERTY) HATHAWAY, 08 Mar 1823 - 08 Oct 1900 Isabel Hagerty was born in Harrison county, Ohio, March 8, and was married to Samuel Hathaway Oct. 8, 1841. To this union was born three sons and three daughters, who are still living. In May, 1865, they moved to DeKalb County, and in April, 1884, they moved to Hamilton. September 23, 1890, the tie was broken by the death of her companion and since that time she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Mary Zeigler. In 1866 she united with the Church of God and since that time has lived a quiet, devoted life. She died at the home of her son, A. D. Hathaway, aged 77 years, 7 months and 1 day. Many friends will revere her memory. Funeral services were conducted by Elder H. H. Stove and she was laid to rest by the side of her husband to await the resurrection call. (Hathaway) Williamson, 1859 - 1928, married John B. Zeigler, 1857 - 1926. They are buried at Hamilton Cemetery. Horace Hathaway, 1859 - 1943, married Debbie J. (Williamson) Hathaway, 1858 - 1924. They are buried at Fremont Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Arthur Hathaway, 1860 - 1941, married Ellen (Detar) Hathaway, 1859 - 1928.
