FRED A. HAYWARD from Herald-Republican, Wednesday, June 9, 1982, pg 2A, col 2 Fred A. Hayward (December 23, 1907-June 6, 1982) Services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Weicht Funeral Home for Fred A. Hayward, 74, who died Sunday in Cameron Hospital. Mr. Hayward was an employee of Maxton Motors for 31 years before retiring, and was a member of the Angola Fire Department for 25 years. He also was a member of the Angola United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Madalin Everett Hayward; a son, Don, of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Wava Broughton of Coldwater, Mich., and Geraldine Gates of Angola; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be officiated by the Rev. David Michel of the Angola United Methodist church, with burial in the Flint Cemetery, Memorials are to the Steuben County Cancer fund and the Angola Fire Department. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Frederick Arthur Hayward was the son of Arthur F. Hayward (1878-11 Nov 1947) and Lura Booth (Waite) Hayward (5 Feb 1882-Aug 1971).
