STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, MAY 1, 1901, page 1, column 7 REBECCA (STAHL) HOYER, 14 Feb 1813 - 24 Apr 1901 Rebecca Stahl, wife of Samuel Hoyer, was born in Union county, Penn., on Feb. 14, 1813, and died at her home in Steuben county, Ind., April 24, 1901, aged 88 years, 2 months and 10 days. She was the mother of eight children, five sons and three daughters. Four of her sons and companion have preceded her to the spirit land. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. S.
