JOHNSON, 09 Feb 1850 - 13 May 1902 Abner Johnson was born in DeKalb county, Ind., Feb. 9, 1850, and died at his home in Angola, Ind., May 13, 1902, aged 52 years, 3 months and 4 days. He was united in marriage to Mary Slaybaugh, Oct. 20, 1872. To this union were born three children, one son and two daughters. His devoted wife, loving children, two brothers, one sister and many friends and neighbors remain to mourn their loss. The deceased was a patient sufferer from consumption for two years. As a husband and father, he was kind and considerate; as a neighbor, he was loved and respected by all, and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Funeral services were held at the home May 15, at 10:30 a.m., and burial in Circle Hill cemetery, Elder John H. Clark officiating. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Abner B. Abner and Mary are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana. Leonard and Hannah are buried at County Line Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Daughter: Lena M. (Johnson) Clink Cain, 1885 - 15 Oct 1965, married 1st, David F. Clink, 1875 - 1919. She married 2nd, Andrew J. Cain, 19 Dec 1890 - 11 Jan 1976. They are buried at Mt.
