Was born near Hamilton, Indiana, Sept. 30 1883, and died Feb. 23,
1912, at the home of T. E. Purmton, in Angola, Indiana, after an illness
of four weeks.  She became a christian under the ministry of Elder C. S.
Medbury, and has been an active worker in the church ever since.  She was
a successful teacher in and near Angola for four and one-half years. 
December 31, 1905, she was married to David B. Purinton, who, with the
mother, Mrs. Ada Kannel remain with a host of kind friends to mourne her
early departure.
        Funeral services were held in the Christian church, Sunday
afternoon and were attended by a large number of sympathizing friends.
