BURTON J. KEPLER JR., 02 Jun 1897 - 10 Feb 1982

   Retired schoolteacher Burt Kepler, 84, of Hamilton died Thursday 
morning at the Cameron Memorial Community Hospital.
   Mr. Kepler was born June 2, 1897, the son of Burt and Harriet 
Miller Kepler.  His wife, Gertrude, preceded him in death in 1975.
   He was a member of the Otsego Lodge 701, F&AM, Order of the 
Eastern Star, Pleasant Lake, and the Pleasant View Church of 
Christ.
   Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Willadean) Shockley of 
Bryan, Ohio; three grandchildren; a brother, Ford Kepler of 
Hamilton; and a sister, Frances Fee, also of Hamilton.
   Funeral services were held Saturday at the Wilson Funeral Home 
in Hamilton with the Reverend Ronald Miller officiating.  Masonic 
and Eastern Star services were held Friday.
   Burial was in the Hamilton Cemetery.
   Preferred memorial are to the Pleasant View Church of Christ.

Gertrude L. (Orwig) Kepler, 12 Feb 1899 - 08 Apr 1975.  They are 
buried at Hamilton Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Burton was the son of Burton J. Kepler Sr., 1856 - 31 Dec 1948, 
and Harriett A. (Miller) Kepler, 1862 - 1941.  They are buried at 
Hamilton Cemetery.  Gertrude was the daughter of Victor O. Orwig, 
and his 1st wife, Clara (Wenner) Orwig, no dates or place of 
burial.  Victor's 2nd wife was Nellie (Penland) Parrott Orwig, 1875 
- 1943, widow of Clyde Simon Parrott, 17 Sep 1869 - 1906.  Nellie 
and Clyde are buried at Pleasant Lake Cemetery, Steuben County, 
Indiana.

CHILDREN:
   Ford A. Kepler, 07 Dec 1892 - 19 May 1894, married Marie W. 
(Keep) Kepler, 10 Nov 1894 - 01 Jan 1974.  They are buried at 
Hamilton Cemetery.  Marie was the daughter of Luther Keep (no 
dates) and his 2nd wife, Clarey (Clarissa?) Eliza (Free) Keep, no 
dates or place of burial for her.  Luther is buried at Hamilton 
Cemetery.
   Frances Elnora (Kepler) Fee, 01 Mar 1899 - 23 May 1983, married 
Harry C. Fee, 1897 - 1942.  They are buried at Hamilton Cemetery.
