STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 1902, page 1, column 7 MARY (EMERSON) KIBMALL, 09 Oct 1831 - 14 Oct 1902 Mary Kimball, wife of William Kimball, died in Fredonia, Kansas, Oct. 14, 1902. Mr. Kimball and Miss Mary Emerson were married Dec. 25, 1851, and were residents of Orland for many years. Mrs. Kimball had been an invalid five years, but bore her affliction without a murmur or complaint, thus showing her complete faith in Christ, exorting her children to put their faith in Christ, for "He doeth all things well." She leaves a husband and six children to mourn their loss. Her afflicted daughter Alice, in her letter says, "It is hard to be deprived by death of our dear mother, but we know our loss is her gain." They are buried at Fredonia, Wilson County, Kansas. Mary was the daughter of Avery Emerson Sr., 22 Sep 1788 - 16 Oct 1865, and Sophronia (Allen) Emerson, 25 Feb 1799 - 17 Mar 1877. They are buried at Kendallville, Noble County, Indiana. CHILDREN: Frank Emerson Kimball, 06 Feb 1856 - Aug 1931. Burial place unknown. William Timothy/Timothy W.
