SOPHIA KITTRIDGE, Oct 1829 - 24 Mar 1902

   Sophia Kittridge, aged 74 years, died at her home here Monday 
morning, March 24, and will be buried Wednesday in the old cemetery 
at Angola.  She leaves a brother, two sisters, four nieces and two 
nephews.

   Sophia Kittridge/Kittredge, Oct 1829 - 24 Mar 1902, was the daughter of 
Samuel Kittredge, 01 Apr 1800 - 15 Mar 1872, and Sophia (Chickering) 
Kittredge, 12 Feb 1804 - 07 Apr 1892.  They are buried at Old Angola 
Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.

Brothers:
   Alvin Kittridge/Kittredge, born about 1839, apparently a bachelor, is 
not listed in the Cemetery book.
   Samuel Kittridge/Kittredge, born about 1842, no date of death, married 
Amelia (Barrows) Kittridge/Kittredge, 11 Apr 1848 - no date of death, 
daughter of Brewster and Rachel (Barnard) Barrows.

The Steuben Republican, Wednesday, August 24, 1892, page 8, column 2, 3, 
4, 5, lists under those who died the past year, "Sophia Kittridge, born in 
New York, came to Steuben county in 1844, died at Burr Oak, Mich., April 
7, 1892, aged 90 years."  This is the mother of the family.

   Kittredge, Alvin, Head, white, male, born Feb 1843, age 57,

Mass.
