She united with the Reformed church in 1843, and was a faithful member until death. In 1849, she was united in marriage with David Lechleidner, and to this union were born ten children, 4 sons and 6 daughters, four of them having preceded her to the other shore, leaving two sons and four daughters, thirty grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In 1851, she with her husband emigrated to Lodi, Medina county, Ohio, and lived there until 1864, then moved to Richland township, Steuben county, Indiana. She was a good mother and neighbor and she endeared herself to her family and friends. A large congregation assembled to help lay her away.
