URIAH E. LINN, 24 Jul 1814 - 02 Dec 1900

   Uriah E. Linn was born July 24, 1814, died at his home in 
the village of Jamestown, Dec. 2, 1900, aged 86 years, 4 
months and 8 days.  On March 24th, 1836, he was married to 
Mary Starr.  Five children came to bless their home, but the 
wife and mother died and all but one daughter have preceded 
him to the world beyond.  May 3d, 1857, he was married to 
Martha Carl, and to them were born seven children.  One died 
in his youth.  Two sons and four daughters are left, and all 
but one were present at the funeral which was held at the 
church on Tuesday, Dec. 4th, Elder Dove, of Tiffin, Ohio, 
officiating.  He came to this section forty years ago and was 
a good citizen and will be greatly missed.
