CHRISTY ANN (RALSTON) MAXTON, 19 Dec 1822 - 23 Oct 1902

   Christy Ann Ralston was born Dec. 19, 1822, in Lancaster county, Penn., 
and died at her home in Otsego township, Oct. 23, 1902, age 79 years, 10 
months and 4 days.
   She moved with her father's family to Richland county, Ohio, in 1836, 
and was married to John Maxton, June 12, 1845.  To this union were born 
seven children, two sons and five daughters.  The husband, one son and one 
daughter have preceded her to the spirit land.  They moved to Steuben 
county, Ind., April 1, 1860, where she had remained until her death.  She 
leaves to mourn one son, four daughters, nine grand-children, one great-
grand-child, an aged sister and a host of other relatives and friends.  
She was beloved by those who knew her best.  While a great sufferer in her 
last illness, yet she bore it patiently with no word of complaint.

POSSIBLE CHILDREN:
   Jane (Maxton) Burch, 1847 - 1925, on 27 Jun 1869, married Chester 
Burch, 29 Jul 1848 - 24 May 1904.
   Mary (Maxton) Tasker, 04 Nov 1858 - 23 Dec 1949, married Charles 
Tasker, 25 Aug 1858 - 25 Dec 1933.
The entire family is buried at South Scott Cemetery, Steuben County, 
Indiana.
