STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21, 1903, page 1, column 7 NANCY (MAXWWELL) McCUIN, 16 Jun 1828 - 08 Jan 1903 DIED at her home in Fremont, Ind., Friday, Jan. 8, Nancy Maxwell, wife of Robert McCuin, aged 74 years, 6 months and 22 days. Deceased was born in Antriam, Ireland, and was married to Robert McCuin, June 24, 1851. To the union were born six children, five of whom, with the husband, survive to mourn and at the same time cherish in sacred memory the loving mother whose love for them was beyond measure. She was nearly all her life, a devoted member of the Presbyterian church. Funeral services were held at the home, conducted by Rev. Dyer. Elizabeth (McCuin) Shively, 1857 - 1943, on 30 Aug 1898, married William H. Shively. Elizabeth is buried at Jamestown Cemetery. No information on William.
