ALBERT JAMES McKIBBEN, 23 Dec 1868 - 10 Feb 1903

   Albert James McKibben, son of James and Electa McKibben, was 
born in Ottowa county, Michigan, Dec. 23, 1868, and died at his 
home near Orland, Indiana, Feb. 10, 1903, aged 34 years, 1 month 
and 17 days.
   On Nov. 9, 1892, he was united in marriage with Bell Dickinson.  
To this union were born two children, Vallera and Jessie.  Jessie 
preceded her father to the heavenly rest.
   Mr. McKibben united with the M. E. church, March 13, 1887, and 
remained a faithful follower of the Master during the remainder of 
his days.  He leaves to mourn their loss a wife, daughter, mother, 
brother, sister and a host of friends.  He was a member of Harmony 
Grange, and a large number of the members of the order were present 
at the funeral services, which were held Thursday, Feb. 12, at the 
M. E. church.  Services were conducted by Rev. E. H. Peters.
   Bro. McKibben was a Christian, a kind neighbor, and one who was 
much interested in his family.  The community has lost a loyal 
citizen and the church an earnest worker.

   Albert James McKibben, 23 Dec 1868 - 10 Feb 1903, married Belle 
(Dickinson) McKibben, 14 Mar 1873 - 09 Nov 1965, daughter of George 
Franklin Dickinson and Phoebe (Swiger) Dickinson.  They are all buried at 
Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Albert's parents were James F. McKibben, 04 Dec 1844 - 18 Jul 1893, and 
Electa (Waite) McKibben, 19 Apr 1848 - 28 Mar 1923, daughter of Horace and 
Mary J. (Stayner) Waite.

CHILDREN:
   Vallera A. (McKibben) Ames, 29 Jun 1895 - 26 Mar 1926, married Thomas 
Ames.  Vallera is buried at Greenlawn Cemetery with her parents.
   Jessie Marguerite McKibben, born about 29 Apr 1897 - 21/24 Nov 1899, 
aged 2 years, 6 months and 23 days.  She is buried with her parents, also.

Belle (Dickinson) McKibben married 2nd, Wright W. McKibben.
