MARY J. (MUGG) MERRIAM, 09 Sep 1841 - 05 Aug 1903

   Mary J. Mugg, daughter of Jesse J. D. and Elizabeth Mugg, was 
born in Sandusky county, Ohio, September 9, 1841, and died in 
Chicago, Aug. 5, 1903, aged 61 years, 10 months and 7 days.
   Deceased was married to Charles Merriam, In Angola, January, 
1860, and to the union was born one child, now Mary Rosina Flyn, of 
St. Louis, Missouri.  She was one of a family of six children, of 
which one sister, Mrs. Helen Hacket, of Beatrice, Neb., and a 
brother, John B. A. W. Mugg, of Angola, survive.  Funeral was held 
at the home of her brother on Saturday, Aug. 8th at one o'clock, 
Elder C. S. Medbury officiating.

   Mary J. (Mugg) Merriam, 08 Sep 1841 - 05 Aug 1903, married Charles 
Daniel Merriam, 1835 - 1861.  They are buried at Old Angola Cemetery, 
Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.  She was the daughter of Jesse J. Mugg, 
15 Feb 1814 - 09 Sep 1864, aged 50 years, 6 months and 22 days, and his 1st 
wife, Elizabeth (Squires) Mugg, 17 Jun 1818 - 06 Dec 1854, aged 36 years, 
10 months, 20 days.  His 2nd wife was Nancy (Nichols) Mugg, 21 Jul 1826 - 
22 Jan 1863, aged 36 years, 6 months, 1day.  They are buried at Old Angola 
Cemetery.

SIBLINGS:
   Sarah Caroline Mugg, 31 Jul 1839 - 21 Nov 1857, aged 18 years, 3 
months, 21 days.  She is buried at Old Angola Cemetery.
   Adaline Louisa Mugg, 25 Jun 1844 - 20 Mar 1845, aged 8 months and 25 
days.  She is buried at Old Angola Cemetery.
   Francis LaFayette Mugg, 21 Jun 1846 - 28 Feb 1847, aged 8 months and 7 
days.  He is buried at Old Angola Cemetery with his sister Adaline.
   John Basil Arthur Warwick Mugg, 13 Oct 18540 - 01 Nov 1910, on 18 Mar 
1880, married Sophia Adelaiede (Freligh) Mugg, 01 Sep 1848 - 17 May 1917. 
They are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.
