NANCY J. (TROWBRIDGE) MERRITT, 26 Aug 1820 - 22 Apr 1901

   Nancy J. Trowbridge was born in Morgan county, Ohio, August 26, 
1820, and died April 22, 1901, aged 80 years, 7 months and 27 days.  
In 1840 deceased was married to Daniel P. Merritt and in 1844 they 
moved to Steuben county, where they have since resided.  Of the 
eight children born to this union, one son and two daughters are 
living and the aged husband still survives.  Deceased was a member 
of the church from her early young womanhood.  Funeral took place at 
the Flint M. E. church on Wednesday, April 24, Elder G. S. Medbury 
officiating.
