STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, 25 Nov 1891 P.5, C.4 EVE ANN (BLANKLEY) MILNES, 02 JAN 1815 - 19 NOV 1891 At her home in Fremont, Ind., Nov. 19, 1891, Mrs. G. A. Milnes, aged 76 years, 10 months and 17 days. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and was married to G. A. Milnes, Nov. 8, 1835. To them were born 5 sons and 4 daughters. Three sons, one daughter and her husband have been dead several years. Early in life she united with the Baptist church, but in later life became a Universalist. She was held in high esteem for her excellent qualities and genuine goodness. Her funeral was held on Sunday, Nov. 22, at her late residence, Rev. C. A. Gleason officiating. He was the son of Joseph Milnes, 1791 - 1852, and Dorcas (______) Milnes, 1791 - 1865. They are all buried at Jamestown Cemetery, Steuben County, In. Audree Seibel Lewis noted in the Cemetery Books that a special train was run from Ft.Wayne, Indiana, for George Milnes' funeral. CHILDREN OF THE MARRIAGE OF EVA ANN AND GEORGE: Mary A. (Milnes) Moffett, 01 Sep 1836 - 06 Dec 1919, who married Thomas R. Moffett, 1834 - 1913. They are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, In. Joseph Milnes, 09 Jul 1838 - 17 Mar 1866, died from exposure during military service. He is buried at Jamestown Cemetery. Emma (Milnes) Beck, 19 Oct 1840 - 05 Aug 1879, on 05 Jan 1865, married Abner W. Beck. Emma is buried at Jamestown Cemetery. Abner's burial place is unknown. Josephine (Lucy J. on marriage license) (Milnes) Heller, 08 Apr 1843 - 25 Jun 1901, on 30 Apr 1867, married George Heller, 1841 - 1893. They are buried at Jamestown Cemetery. Antionette (Nettie on marriage license) (Milnes) Kimsey, on 03 Oct 1869, married Moses Kimsey. Atwood E. Milnes married Estella (Dutcher) Milnes. James P. B. Milner, 16 Nov 1848 - 28 Aug 1850.
