   Died, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David Davis, after 
a long illness, Mrs. John Morse.  Mrs. Susan Hanes Morse was 
born in Seneca Co., New York, April 29, 1816, and died near 
Lake Gage, Jan. 11, 1895, aged 78 years, 8 months and 12 days.  
The funeral took place from the Davis residence last Sunday, 
Rev. Foster, of Orland, officiating.  The remains were taken 
to the Prairie cemetery for burial beside her husband.  Mrs. 
Morse leaves three sons and three daughters to mourn their 
loss.

   Susan A. (Hanes) Morse, 29 Apr 1816 - 11 Jan 1895, married 
John H. Morse, born about 21 Jun 1814 - 31 Oct 1889, aged 75 
years, 4 months and 10 days.

   Daughter:  Frances C. (Morse) Davis, 12 Apr 1841 - 28 Aug 
1912, married David G. Davis, 07 Jan 1830 - 21 Mar 1896, son 
of Abner and Polly (Beardsley/Bardsley) Davis.

   Son:  Sanford Morse, 20 Apr 1842 - 06 Feb 1911, married 
Alice (Randall) Morse, born about 30 May 1858 - 19 Feb 1899, 
aged 40 years, 8 months and 20 days.
