        Joseph T. Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Myers, was born at 
South Bend, March 27, 1846.  He was married January 1,1874, to Elizabeth 
Dayhuff, who departed her life April 20, 1920.  To this union were born 
four children---One daughter and three sons. Three sons preceded him in 
death. He was a faithful husband and father, a kind neighbor, always 
willing to help those that were in need.  He had been in failing health 
for nearly two years, but was only bedfast two days.  He departed this 
life June 30, 1925, at the age of 79 years three months and two days. 
        He leaves to mourn, one daughter, Mrs. Frank Albright, of near
Waterloo, and five grandchildren--Earl, of near Ashley;  Cora Hill, of 
near South Milford;  Mabel;  Vesta and Ebon, at home.
