        BASIL OBERLIN

        A lifetime resident of Hamilton, Basil Oberlin, 76, died early
Tuesday
morning, July 30, at his home.  He was a retired farmer.
        Surviving are his wife, Myrtie, a son MacLynn, of Rt. 1, Hamilton,
and
four grandchildren. 
        Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 1,
from the
Swift Funeral Home with Rev. Summers Clark,  former pastor of the Hamilton
Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery.
