STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1901, page 1, column 6 BARBARA (KELLER) OSFALL, 25 Mar 1833 - 13 Feb 1901 (Picture included with obituary) Barbara Keller was born in Columbiana county, Ohio, March 25, 1833, and died at her home in Angola, Feb. 13, 1901, aged 67 years, 10 months and 18 days. The deceased was married to Charles Osfall, April 3, 1855. She was the mother of five children, three girls and two boys, who with her husband, one sister and two brothers, survive her. For many years she has been a devoted follower of Christ, and the quiet, consistent life reminded those who knew her of a soul whose hope rested in the redeeming mercy of the Heavenly Father. Mrs. Osfall was possessed of a pleasing and winning disposition. She had a faculty of looking upon the sunny side of everything at all times, and was loved and held in high esteem by all with whom she came in contact. Though she moves among us no more, yet her name shall ever be cherished in our memories. Her suffering was intense during her illness, but oftimes she would soar away on the wings of inspiration, and by faith behold the "King in His Beauty," in the land that is afar off. Her death very much resembled the setting sun, after a day of storm and clouds. It was calm and peaceful. She stepped from this life mortal to the life immortal. Funeral services occurred at the M. E. church in Angola, Friday, Feb. 15, conducted by Rev. A. G. Neal, assisted by Rev. Wagner. Burial in Circle Hill cemetery.
