STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23, 1904, page 8, column 3 AARON G. PARSELL, M.D., 21 Jan 1826 - 17 Mar 1904 (Dr.) A. G. Parsell departed this life Thursday morning, March 17, 1904, after a brief illness of only a few days, aged 78 years, 1 month and 26 days. He was married to Miss Emily Emerson, Dec. 13, 1846. To this union were born 10 children, 6 of whom are still living. Mrs. Parsell died June 4, 1896, and since that time he has lived with his daughter Nellie and son Tom at this place. He has been in poor health for about a year, but on the Sunday before his death he attended services at the Reformed church, and was up town on Monday, hence the announcement of his death was quite sudden to this community. The funeral was held in the M. E. church, Friday afternoon, Rev. Lautzenheiser officiating, assisted by Rev. Luse. Dr. Parsell, as he was more familiarly called, will be missed. There was a large attendance at the funeral. The floral design, a lovely pillow with the word "Father" on was presented by the K. of P. brothers; burial at Circle Hill Cemetery. They were in Humboldt, Kansas in 1885. James R. Parsell, 14 Dec 1854 - Dec 1913, buried at O-Hud Cemetery. Henrietta (Parsell) Ransburg, born 1859, married Elmer Ransburg. Burial place unknown. They were in Edgerton, Ohio in 1885. Nellie Parsrell, born 1863, no other information. Tibry Parsell, died in infancy, 21 Feb 1866, buried at Flint Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana, Sec. C, Lot 52. Emma Parsell, died 01 Mar 1866 (__m. 17d); buried at Flint Cemetery, Sec. C, Lot 52. Thomas Parsell, born in 1870, alive in 1904, no other information. Possible daughter, Jessie F. Parsell, died 07 Oct 1857, (10m.5d), buried at Flint Cemetery. Cemetery Book says Sec. G, Lot 52, which belongs to Jack Miller. Sec. PARENTS: Father, Moses S. Parsell, 12 Feb 1797 - 14 Nov 1839, married 1st, Mary (Campbell) Parsell, 10 Sep 1795 - Aug 1824. He married 2nd, Hannah (Crilley) Parsell, 11 Oct 1799 - 08 Aug 1846.
