        SYDNEY PARSONS     ( 1801 - 25 Apr 1877 )
        In Jackson township, April 25th, 1877 in the 76th year of his life.
        Mr. Parsons was born in Hampden County, Mass. in the year of 1801.
He has
for many years been a member of the Baptist Church at Lake Gage, and was
well known as a good citizen and neighbor.  He leaves four sons and three
daughters to mourn his death.
