  I.J. PHENICIE 70, died Friday morning, December 24, at Branch County
Health Center in Coldwater, Mich..  Funeral services were held Monday
afternoon at the Beams Funeral Home with the Rev. G. A. Ward
officiating, and burial was in the Fremont cemetery.  Surviving are the
wife, Mae (CLARK); three sons, Lyle, of Mendon, Mich.; Russell, of
Chicago; Clark, of Reading, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Louise Beebe, of
Battle Creek, Mich.; and a sister, Mrs. Ella McNaughton of St.
Petersburg, Fla., and seven grandchildren.
