RUBY (LANDIS) DENMAN POWERS, 02 Mar 1893 - 21 Oct 1985

   Ruby Powers, 92, Fremont, died Monday in Carlin Park 
Nursing Home.  She was born in Steuben County to Amos and May 
Wheaton Landis. 
   She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Olive) 
Daffron, Fort Wayne; and one brother, Allen Landis, Pleasant 
Lake.
   Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Beams Funeral 
Home with calling two hours before services.  The Rev. George 
Cole will officiate.  Burial will be in Flint Cemetery.

   Ruby (Landis) Denman Powers, 02 Mar 1893 - 21 Oct 1985, 
was the daughter of Amos Howard Landis, 1866 - 1949, and 
Carrie Mae (Wheaton) Landis, 1871 - 1951.  Amos and Carrie 
are buried at Fremont Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.  
Ruby married 1st, Ray Denman, 1892 - 1947 and they are buried 
at Flint Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.  She married 2nd, 
Ross L. Powers, 03 Apr 1890 - 20 Jan 1968, son of Howard and 
Lamora (Isenhower) Powers.  Ross is buried at Fremont 
Cemetery.

SIBLINGS:
   Estle N. Landis, 30 Sep 1895 - 09 Jan 1977, married Pearl 
(Johnson) Landis, 22 Sep 1897 - 13 Oct 1996, daughter of  
Harvey E. and Emma Jane (Locke) Johnson.  Estle and Pearl are 
buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Harold C. Landis, 08 Jun 1908 - 08 Apr 1985, married Ruth 
(Williams) Landis.  They are buried at Fremont Cemetery.
   Allen Landis, 26 Sep 1898 - Apr 1987, married Thelma R. 
(Berlien) Landis, 11 Jul 1911 - 10 Jun 1885, daughter of John 
and Margaret (Wilsey) Berlien.  Thelma is buried at South 
Scott Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
