RALSTON, 25 Jan 1847 - 21 Feb 1904 John Ralston was born in Richland county, Ohio, January 25, 1847; died at his home in Scott township, Steuben county, Indiana, February 21, 1904, aged 57 years and 27 days. He was the only son of George and Mary Ralston. September 23, 1869, he was joined in marriage with Susan Cline. To this union were born three children, Mary J., wife of Elias Nichols, Margaret, wife of Wm. Lower, and Ettie Irene, the youngest, who had preceded him to the better land. He united with the United Brethren church in the year 1901 at Cole school house. Later he withdrew his name and joined the class at Loon Lake. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, two daughters, four grandchildren, five sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral was conducted by R. D. Biven in the Fairview church in the presence of a large congregation Thursday, at 11 a.m. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: John P.
