ELLEN (HULWICK) RANNEY, 13 Oct 1851 - 03 Mar 1903

   Ellen Ranney was born Oct. 13, 1851, and died March 3, 1903, 
aged 51 years, 4 months and 20 days.  She leaves a husband and six 
children, two sons and four daughters; three brothers, two sisters 
and a host of friends to mourn their loss.  Her children were all 
with her when the end came.  The funeral was held at the U. B. 
church, last Friday, Elder D. S. Medbury officiating.

married John Ranney.  Ellen is buried at Pleasant Lake Cemetery, Steuben 
County, Indiana.  John's burial place unknown.
   Daughter, Nellie Ranney, 22 Dec 1886 - 02 Apr 1907, buried at Pleasant 
Lake Cemetery.
   Ellen was the daughter of John Hulwick, burial place unknown.  Her 
mother was Fanny Augusta (Williams) Hulwick, 01 Aug 1829 - 14 Jun 1900, 
aged 70 years, 10 months and 13 days.  She is buried at Pleasant Lake 
Cemetery.
   SIBLINGS:
   Ephriam B. Hulwick, 06 Sep 1853 - 05 Apr 1932, on 04 Jul 1877, married 
Fanny A. (Carichner) Hulwick, 17 Feb 1857 - 22 Jan 1921.  They are buried 
at Old Angola Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Wallace Hulwick, 12 Aug 1855 - 31 Dec 1928, married 1st, Harriet (Moore) 
Hulwick, 10 Apr 1851 - 23 Feb 1897, daughter of Dr. John Henry Moore and 
his 1st wife, Abigail (Lee) Moore.  Wallace's 2nd wife was Mrs. Lizzie 
Somerlott Tully.
   Ida Philatha (Hulwick) Moore, 13 Nov 1859 - 26 Apr 1914, married Duane 
R. Moore, 1849 - 1924, son of Dr. John Henry Moore and his 1st wife , 
Abigail (Lee) Moore.  They are buried at pleasant Lake Cemetery.
   Under Mary Ann (Dayhuff) Knight, 1844 - 1875, Austin Knight married 2nd, 
Rosamond (Hulwick), daughter of John and Fanny Augusta Hulwick, on 17 Sep 
1876.
