Ilene I. Ridenour, 67, Angola, died Monday, Nov. 8, at Cameron Memorial Hospital, Angola.

She was born Aug. 1, 1926 in Flagstaff, Ariz., to Emmanuel Michael and Cora Watkins Katus.

Mrs. Ridenour was a homemaker and a member of North Scott Church where she belonged to the ladies aid society.

She is survived by her husband, Burdett, whom she married Sept. 3, 1948; one son, Michael of Quincy, Mich.; her parents, Henry and Cora Griffin of Angola; one sister, Joan Olson of Andover, S.D.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Emmanual Katus, when she was a small child, and by one daughter, Dawn Smith.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, with the Rev. James Hulbert officiating. 

Memorial may be made to North Scott Church.
